Making A Purchase from GlitterGoth

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

Gothic Jewellery Availability

If an item is "In Stock" then it is readily available for prompt dispatch. Items marked as "Out of Stock" are held by our supplier, and may take up to fifteen working days to dispatch.

If you require an item by a specific date, please state this in the 'special instructions' box during checkout and we will endeavour to expedite the item for you.

Payment to GlitterGoth

We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as Paypal payments, cheques(UK only) and postal orders (UK only).

Payments by cheque must reach us within ten working days of your order, or your order may be cancelled. We will notify you before cancellation if we have not received your payment.

If you are shopping from outside the UK, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.

All other payments must be made in pounds sterling.

Credit Card Billing

We will bill your credit card on receipt of your order. Transactions will appear on your card or bank statement as 'GlitterGoth'.

Shipping and Handling Within the UK

We offer a free shipping service on all orders with a sub-total over £10 to all addresses within the UK, and aim to dispatch your item, where possible, within one working day once payment has cleared. We guarantee all in stock items will be dispatched to you within three working days.

Orders under £10 are charged a standard shipping rate based on weight. To discover these charges, please use the shipping estimator tool in your shopping cart.

Limitations of Free Shipping Offer: The free shipping offer is limited to orders made within one transaction. Multiple orders of separate items paid for in separate transactions will incur standard shipping charges.

We use first class post or Recorded "signed for" mail services where appropriate or by request. While these aim to deliver within five working days, this is not a guaranteed time-scale, and it can take up to fifteen working days for your purchase to reach you. If you do not receive your product in that time, then please contact GlitterGoth for assistance.

If Royal Mail attempt a delivery that requires a signature and you are out, and you do not arrange re-delivery of your item, then we will contact you once the item has been returned to us to discuss your options.

Redelivery or refunds resulting from the customer failing to collect a delivered item and said purchase being returned to us by the postal service will be subject to a £5 administrative fee to cover the extra postal costs entailed.

Overseas Shipping

We offer a free shipping service on all orders with a sub-total over £45 to international addresses, and aim to dispatch your item, where possible, within one working day once payment has cleared. We guarantee all in stock items will be dispatched to you within three working days.

Orders under £45 are charged a standard "Airsure" shipping rate based on weight. To discover these charges, please use the shipping estimator tool in your shopping cart.

Overseas customers

: Imports into your country may be subject to import duty if you are not within the EU. You are liable for any duties that may be imposed. GlitterGoth will not enter invalid information on the customs declarations in order to help you bypass these costs.

Returns & Refunds

If you no longer require an item, please contact us as soon as possible, so that we can cancel your order.

Goods may be returned for any reason within seven days of the purchase arriving with you. In accordance with the UK distance selling regulations, any UK customer is entitled to a "no questions" refund or exchange within seven days of receipt. This is on the condition that your purchase is returned in a fit condition for sale as new and with their original packaging (unsealed is acceptable, except in the case of pierced jewellery).

Please contact us as soon as possible to inform us you are returning the item and put a note in with parcel explaining how you would like us to proceed so as to avoid delays in dealing with your return.

We recommend that you use recorded delivery to return your items, as proof of postage is not proof of delivery, and return the item(s) to the address provided below.

The cost of shipping falls to the consumer and will not be refunded unless the item is damaged or faulty upon arrival at the purchaser's address.

Pierced Jewellery Returns

Please do not remove pierced jewellery from its tamper-proof packaging if you believe you may wish to return it. Any pierced jewellery returned with the sealed bag broken can not be guaranteed as "new" for hygiene reasons and therefore cannot be resold, meaning that GlitterGoth incurs a loss.

Although a refund may be issued in this case, GlitterGoth reserves the right to initiate legal proceedings against the customer for breach of contract in accordance with the distance selling regulations.

Overseas Returns

IMPORTANT : Overseas customers returning goods from outside the EU - It is most important that the packaging containing the returned items are marked clearly as RETURNED GOODS, Failure to do this may cause customs charges to be applied to the returned consignment.

In this event, GlitterGoth may deduct the charge from any refund due.

Damaged Items

In the event of goods arriving damaged, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can arrange a refund or replacement.

Limitations of Liability

We will make every endeavour to deliver your order promptly, however we reserve the right to delay, suspend or cancel your order for any reasonable cause. GlitterGoth will not be responsible for any accidental loss or damage, however caused.

Status in Law
